Professor Vito Romano is passionate about translational research and clinical trial design in ophthalmology with a special interest in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery, ophthalmic imaging and ocular surface diseases. He is Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at University of Brescia with honorary positions at the University of Liverpool and Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is authors of several publications on peer-reviewed journals. He is active member of national and international ophthalmology societies and in the editorial team of ophthalmology journal.
