Andrea Genre - Top Italian Scientist in Natural & Environmental Sciences
My research activity focuses on the cellular and molecular basis of the interaction between plants and soil fungi in mycorrhizal symbioses.
I am currently interested in the cellular mechanisms underlying compatibility in arbuscular mycorrhizal symbioses, with cell biology approaches including fluorescence, electron, and confocal microscopy; live cell imaging, fluorescent protein expression, FRAP, FRET, immunolocalization, microtomy; and in vitro culture.
