Salvatore Chirumbolo - Top Italian Scientist in Biomedical Sciences
Salvatore Chirumbolo is a Clinical Biochemist currently working at the Department of Engineering for Innovation Medicine, University of Verona (Italy). He is Professor of II Level Master in Medicine at the University of Pavia and the University of Unicamillus (Rome). Author of more than 390 papers, is Scientific Secretary of the Council of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (Norway) and Editorial Member of International Immunopharmacology (Elsevier), Molecules (MDPI), Journal of Medical Case Reports (Associate Editor) and Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio). He was ranked as one of the 100,000 leading scientists in the world by Joannidis's Research (Stanford University). He is author of the book "L'Italia ai tempi del coronavirus" (PM Edizioni), 2020, "L'origine della mente"(PM Edizioni, 2021), (with Antonio Vella and Giovanni Vella), "Che cos'è l'umano" (PM, edizioni, 2024). He is a Managing Member of SIOOT for the Scientific Board.
