Salvatore Chirumbolo is a Clinical Biochemist currently working at the Department of Engineering for Innovation Medicine, University of Verona (Italy). Author of more than 380 papers, is Scientific Secretary of the Council of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (Norway) and Editorial Member of Nutrition (Elsevier), International Immunopharmacology (Elsevier), Heliyon (Cell Press), Molecules (MDPI) and Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio). He is also Associate Editor of Journal of Medical Case Reports. He was ranked as one of the 100,000 leading scientists in the world by Joannidis's Research (Stanford University). He is author of the book "L'Italia ai tempi del coronavirus" (PM Edizioni), 2020, "L'origine della mente"(PM Edizioni, 2021), (with Antonio Vella and Giovanni Vella), "Che cos'è l'umano" (PM, edizioni, 2024).
