I am an expert in protein structure and in structure-function-inhibition relationship. I am currently involved in the study of different human, viral and bacterial proteins involved in various diseases like gelsolin amyloidosis, cone dystrophy, stroke, ALS (...). Understanding the protein structure and dynamics can help in unraveling the molecular basis of the disease to find new therapeutic options.
