Prof. Giuseppe Lippi was born in Padova (Italy) on October the 4th, 1967. He has taken the degree in Medicine in 1986 and the specialization in Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine in 1992. He currently serves as Full Professor of Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Verona (Italy) and director of the clinical chemistry and haematology laboratories of the University Hospital of Verona (Italy). The main areas of research include pre-analytical variability, analytical and clinical validation of biomarkers, metabolism of lipoproteins and relevant assay methods, diagnosis and management of disorders of haemostasis and thrombosis, COVID-19.
