I am currently European Research Area (ERA) Chair and a Principal Investigator with proven research excellence and management skills, working in low R&I performing or Widening European Union countries. I have 20+ years of research training and experience conducted in 7 different European countries (Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Germany, UK, Czech Republic, Bulgaria) and excellent Institutions [(University of Geneva, European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), University College London (UCL)]. I have a wide range of interests, ranging from metabolism, epigenetics, to stem cells to aging and pre-clinical medicine in various organ systems.
